Come join us on a kayak day trip on the Hudson River out of – Stock Port Flats Boat Launch near Hudson NY.

This area is a calmer area of the river, and the east side of a large island (Stockport Middle Ground island, part of the Hudson River Islands State Park), in the Hudson. This section of the Hudson River east of the island, does not allow motorized boat traffic, making it a protected area for kayakers. It’s a great place for observing eagles.

Bring your kayak (there are no rentals at this location), your lunch, and a swimsuit. There are shallow sandy areas around the island that are very nice for swimming. There are also plenty of picnic spots on the island.
