ARTICLE I – NAME

This club shall be known as the “Family Ski Meisters” hereinafter referred to as the Club.

ARTICLE II – PURPOSE

It is the purpose of the Club to promote skiing as a family sport, to act as a source of skiing information, to provide instruction in skiing, to encourage safe skiing, to encourage ski competition and to plan a year-round program of interest to its members.

The Club may also lease or own real property.

ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Club shall be open to families and individuals. A family shall be defined as a married couple with or without children and single parents/legal guardians with children.

Exceptions require the approval of the Club Executive Committee.

ARTICLE IV – OFFICERS

The elected officers shall be a President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and Treasurer.

ARTICLE V – AMENDMENTS

This Constitution and/or the following By-Laws may be amended at any meeting as per Article IX of the Club By-Laws.
